Everyone Has a Story : Pete Burns
July 27, 2016 5:33 pm
This month’s Everyone Has a Story comes to us from Karin Burns who wrote a loving letter about her brother Pete. Pete has been through many trials in his life, including alcoholism, the loss of a dream job and a debilitating dog bite. But Karin saw something special in her brother in the way he handled these set backs and we’re so glad she shared his story with us.
After spending some time recovering from his injury, Pete decided to try out drawing and sketching, specifically pet portraits. A hobby which soon developed into Pete creating unique and stunning pieces of art that he now sells to raise funds for abused animals. We loved hearing this story and witnessing this special brother sister bond. Watch the full segment on Today.com.
