Everyone Has a Story: Patrick Giblin

January 16, 2016 12:04 am

For this month’s Everyone Has a Story segment we invited Patrick Giblin to the studio. Patrick grew up with adoptive parents, as his birth parents were only teens from very conservative families, when they gave up their son. It was not until Patrick was nearly 38 years old and had a son of his own that he decided it was time to search for his biological parents.

The first person he was able to establish contact with was his mother, with help from the adoption agency where she had left her contact information. Patrick was nervous and very curios, and he didn’t know what to expect until their first phone conversation, which lasted a couple of hours. It was then that his birth mother tracked down his biological father. Despite all the time that had passed, the two reconnected and soon developed a relationship, rekindling the romance from their youth.

Such an amazing story! You can watch the full segment on KLGandHoda.com.
