Everyone Has a Story : Shauna Joas

November 18, 2016 7:21 pm

For this month’s Everyone Has a Story segment, Shauna Joas from Minneapolis honors her parents, Lou Ann and Jim Wischnewski. This one is all about family coming together when the going gets rough.

After Shauna’s husband Bryan was hospitalized for three months following a life-threatening bike accident, her parents stepped in and took care of their kids full time. Bryan’s road to recovery was very uncertain, but with Shauna knowing their children were being so well taken care of, it allowed her to stay with her husband through his entire hospitalization. This experience has truly opened Shauna’s eyes to the true meaning of family.

Watch the video and learn more about Shauna and her family here.
