Everyone Has a Story : Rob Scheer
December 29, 2016 8:44 pm
This month for our “Everyone Has A Story” segment, we meet the inspiring man who started Comfort Cases, a nonprofit that provides children entering foster care items they need for everyday life. Rob Scheer told us all about how he would take food off classmates’ plates because he didn’t know when he would eat next.
Today, Rob is an outspoken advocate for children in foster care, speaks at events all over the country, and was recently honored at the Family Equality Council Impact Awards in Los Angeles, California.
Learn more about the Comfort Cases organization by visiting www.nomoretrashbags.org, and watch his segment on the Today Show here.
