New York, NY - Universal Records is proud to announce the October 24th release of Heart of a Woman, the new CD from Kathie Lee. After 15 years as the co-host of the beloved Live with Regis & Kathie Lee, Kathie Lee returns to her singing roots with a dynamic new collection.

Kathie Lee has been singing all her life and Heart of a Woman is her first-ever pop album. The album features 12 original songs, four of which were co-written by Kathie Lee. Tracks such as "Always Been You", "In This Life" and "Make My Day" showcase her versatility as a vocalist. A diverse array of producers lend their talents to Heart of a Woman, including Jam & Delgado (Aqua, Ace of Base), Soul Solution (Britney Spears, Tony Braxton, Shania Twain), Gen Rubin (Mary J. Blige, Aretha Franklin, Babyface) and Phil Galdston (Vanessa Williams). A collection of songwriters include Denise Rich (Celine Dion, Marc Anthony) and Gary Baker (98°) contributed to Heart of a Woman.

As Kathie Lee closes the door on one phase of her career, she makes a grand entrance into the next with Heart of a Woman.

The first single, titled "Love Never Fails", was written by Jam & Delgado, Julie Morrison and Jane Vaughn and will be released to Top 40 and Hot AC Radio formats on September 19.
