Bobby Sherman
Volunteer EMT Foundation
We received this nomination from a friend.
"The Bobby Sherman Volunteer EMT Foundation is my nomination. This organization was founded and basically funded by former Teen Idol, Bobby Sherman. They help cover the costs of training and staffing EMTs for public events and attractions in the southern California area, so that the local EMTs are free to perform their duties, and are not tied up at a function. They are all trained and certified EMTs that man the first aid booths at concerts, fairs, and all sorts of events in that are. Bobby once said in an interview that he'd like to someday have this as a nationwide program.
Bobby is an EMT/D with both the L.A. police force and the San Bernadino County Sheriiff's office, and donates his salary back to the city. This man has done so much good. I try to support this organization as much as I can!
Their website is at www.BobbyShermanEMTfoundation.org
Thank you for considering this worthwhile organization.
Chris"
